In college, I had a professor laugh at me once. They thought it was hilarious that I’d decided to take a perfectly viable master’s degree in business management and specialize it around environmentalism and sustainability. “There’s no future and especially no money in environmentalism.” I’m glad I didn’t listen. Throughout the past 14+ years, I’ve built an exceedingly rewarding career in health, wellness, environmentalism, and sustainability. I’ve had the privilege to work with some of the biggest and best brands in the Natural Products Industry including Whole Foods Market, Garden of Life, and Ancient Nutrition. Throughout the years there’ve been many hats to wear; from teaching entire stores how to separate recyclables and compostables, to building promotional strategies for, to traveling the country to set new planograms, to analyzing SPINs data for multi-million-dollar territories. There’s been so many wins, challenges, and learning along the way. And I’m just getting started!
